Imagination Publishing, the most passionate custom media agency in the United States, is looking to add a Web Editor to our team. The Web Editor will work with an exceptional team to produce content in a dynamic, client-focused environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work and progress within an award-winning creative agency, producing content for a Fortune 50 Home Improvement retailer and a Fortune 500 global document management and technology enterprise.
In this role, you will write, edit and manage online content according to Imagination’s quality process, ensuring that all content meets the client’s objectives on a consistent basis. Specifically, you will write or assign monthly online features, and maintain responsibility for regular updates to our client websites. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing a team of editorial freelancers.
There is minimal travel involved (up to 10%), and you will be expected to attend industry conferences, off-site client meetings and represent the industry at national events. The Web Editor reports directly to the Small Business Group Publisher and works closely with the SBG Associate Editor.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
BS/BA degree required (preferably with a concentration in Communications, Journalism or English)
Prior writing and editing experience in the residential construction industry
3-5 years of post-collegiate online editorial experience (B2B & B2C required)
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Excellent attention to detail is a must!
Comfort and familiarity with AP style
