Career Opportunity

Maintain web-inspection classification including identifying new defect classes. Work as a liaison between operation, quality assurance, and technical sales service to accurately identify surface defects and work with the team to reduce defect occurrence. Maintain historical database and mine the data for incident specific issues. Work with onsite group to ensure high system reliability, availability, and establish work procedures to sustain process improvement.

Provides WIS expertise and is responsible for startup and operation. Performs appropriate planning and prevents project delays.

What You need for Success

Electrical, computer engineer, or computer science disciplines preferred. Two to four years of previous process control or WIS experience in the paper industry can be accepted in lieu of a degree.

Combination of paper machine process control and paper machine process engineering would be ideal.
