TITLE OF ROLE: Web Production Intern

SUPERVISOR'S TITLE: Sr. Manager, Web Offerings
•Demonstrated skill in coding HTML and managing Web graphics.
•Technical trouble shooting aptitude and knowledge of Web browsers.
•Strong knowledge of Web common practices and Web navigation.
•Must have superb organization skills; good work ethic and communication skills.
•Ability to understand customer focus, and teamwork and partnering skills.
•Excellent verbal, written and electronic communication skills.
•Interact effectively with management and staff, and work independently and/or as part of a team.
•Collaborative and follow-through skills.
•Able to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
EDUCATION: Currently enrolled in a two year or bachelor degree program. Computer science or web design program preferred, but not required.
EXPERIENCE: Experience in word processing, spreadsheet and e-mail office tools. Demonstrated skill in HTML coding. Content Management experience preferred.
LIST OF ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Work with other departments to manage and deploy daily updates to ASQ’s Web sites.
2.Acquires and/or edits site content including copy, graphics and multimedia.
3.Provide internal customer correspondence and problem resolution.
4.Assist in maintaining operational integrity of Websites.
Internal - Frequent interaction with ASQ internal partners and teams to support Web project development and deployment. A member of the Web Offerings group.
2.External - Regular contact with members and customers via phone and e mail.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Operates independently and in team environments with direction and supervision from the Sr. Mgr, Web Offerings.
1.Work Conditions - Normal office environment.
2.Exposure to Hazards - None.
