Web Marketing Analyst
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze opco website and online performance in order to identify areas of improvement
Provide overall website performance reports on opco online performance (includes PPC, SEO, website traffic, email, and social media)
Develop online A/B or multivariate testing plans for website performance improvement
Analyze the performance on online testing projects and report back on effectiveness
Interact with digital marketers and marketing leadership and present findings on opco digital marketing performance and online optimization project effectiveness.
A willingness to be hands on and work closely with a variety of stakeholders with varying and/or limited understanding of web metrics will be required.
CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS
·Experience with web analytics software (Google Analytics required)
·Ability to understand and use applied statistics to business problems
·Capable of analyzing data and delivering actionable evaluation
·Ability to develop online testing hypotheses and testing plans
·A passion for problem-solving, learning and educating others
·Familiarity with Microsoft Excel
·Familiarity with HTML, web design, and internet activity
·Familiarity with online testing tools. (Google Content Experiments, WebTrends Optimize, VisualWebsiteoptimizer.com, etc.)
Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics or related field preferred, but not required.
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in web analytics and digital marketing campaign performance management.
Must be self-motivated, well organized, have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; must be proficient with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software, and internet and email tools.
TRAVEL Up to 40% travel, primarily within North America.
