Candidate will contribute to all related software projects, including the definition and implementation of a long term software development roadmap, leveraging state of the art architecture, tools, and development processes. Candidate must have proven experience in working on enterprise-class web development projects and globally distributed teams. Overall Job Function: Designs and develops information technology solutions for clients, which may include systems strategy, development and/or integration services. May also complete consulting projects with clients in the area of technology strategy, information systems security, data strategy, systems architecture, custom systems development, new installation and migrations of function/business area applications, application integration web, IP and online solutions and networking. Designs, codes, tests and/or customizes solutions to meet client requirements. May support systems infrastructure, desktop or network architects by preparing detailed specifications. Develops new technology product ideas or strategic product extensions into a commercial product. Establishes technology product specifications, and collaborates with various functions to ensure successful product development and implementation. Strong knowledge of emerging trends, security technologies and secure development/design Strong knowledge of tools and technics for Test Driven Development, Code Review and Automated Deployment process. Superb written and oral communications skills; able to produce and deliver compelling presentations to highest levels of management Qualified Candidates should have the following skills: Experience working with Agile tools such as Version One, Rally etc Have a strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive Experience managing and working with distributed/global teams internationally. Comfortable navigating complex organizations and political structures Ability to self-organize and work effectively with minimal supervision Experience with managing remote and off-shore teams Demonstrated an ability to achieve stretch goals in a very innovative and fast paced environment Strong written and communications skills Knowledge of financial/trading industry a strong plus Ideal candidate is innovative, resourceful, and self-directed. Candidate should have the ability to quickly establish relationships with key engineers, has the ability to excite customers, stakeholders and colleagues about the overall development strategy beyond the next 12 months. Minimum Requirements: Education Required: At least Masters' Degree or double degree qualified in a discipline related to Computer Science and our industry; or equivalent work experience. Experience Required: 15+ years of Experience; 8+ years of development and 6+ years development management experience Special Qualifications: Continues to develop computer engineering qualifications relevant to the industry challenges.
