The Web Specialist in Undergraduate Studies will support the Dean's Office and UGS Department websites by creating, enhancing, implementing, and maintaining web pages to ensure that overall standards for appearance and functionality are being met. As an advanced user of software applications, the focus of the Web Specialist will primarily be on the technical aspects of the end users requests and requirements.
This position will also be responsible for developing and maintaining databases, queries, and reports to meet the information and communication needs of the Undergraduate Studies Dean's Office. This will include ensuring data integrity within the databases through regular audits. To fulfill this requirement, the Web Specialist will be required to utilize university-wide enterprise systems such as the Banner Student Information System, web development software, and Microsoft Office applications.
Minimum Qualifications (Education & Experience):
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with six years of experience in related positions. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may be substituted at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
Preferred Qualifications (Education & Experience):
Bachelor's degree in web development or web applications, and two years of working experience in database and web development and maintenance.
