As a Web Support Consultant, you will be responsible for answering phone calls and assisting customers with software-related issues. You will also be responsible for fully documenting all customer issues, as well as troubleshooting customer issues and providing timely answers along with follow-up. You will also act as a liaison for customers in dealing with other departments and assisting with quality assurance testing of software. Other responsibilities will include participation in other assigned projects.
The training process includes various classes and on-the-job training. Successful applicants will receive hands-on experience working directly with senior-level representatives. Performance is evaluated on a regular basis to gauge progress and to assist in setting goals.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Basic PC skills
- Knowledge of markup languages such as HTML is a plus
- Any experience with Java, Cascading Style Sheets or programs such as Front Page and Dreamweaver is also a plus
- Good communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly
- Work well under pressure
- Desire to work in a team environment
