Responsibilities:
  • Be part of the small product execution team, working directly with Product Management and Engineering
  • Design simple web and mobile experiences that delight users
  • Solve complex UX problems and drive our product experience forward
  • Design new products and initiatives
  • Map, wire frame, and mockup new features and products
  • Design and implement user flows and interactions
  • Make design decisions based on experience and metrics
  • Utilize story boarding and flow chart techniques for optimal organization

Requirements:
  • Applications without attached portfolios will not be evaluated for this role
  • Passion for Web and Mobile UX and visual design
  • Experience designing iOS and Android phone and/or tablet applications a plus
  • Ability to determine dimensions, styles, and designs for various web and mobile devices
  • Solid Adobe CS skills
  • Attention to detail and quality across browsers
  • Record of producing functional designs that simplify and solve usability problems
  • A solid understanding of modern web technologies. This is not a coding position, but you understand the ins and outs of HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating real-world experience creating superb user-experiences
  • 5+ years of professional Internet consumer products design experience

Bonus Skills:
  • Experience of working at a startup and / or developing a new product from scratch is highly preferred
  • Experience working with online communities
