Blue Nile is looking for a passionate and talented Website Analyst to join our marketing team. The website analyst will be responsible for creating and managing a website analytics platform that will enable dynamic tracking of key website performance metrics for the purposes of informing creative, merchandising and marketing strategies and tactics to improve user experience, consumer engagement, overall site conversion and revenue per visitor.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the ongoing, in-depth analysis and distillation of Key Performance Indicators and translating key insights into actionable tactics.

Developing and maintaining weekly executive dashboard of website analytics and statistics.

Play an instrumental in the development of business cases for new strategic and tactical website enhancements, features and benefits.

Act as the single point of contact and business owner to plan, develop and execute seasonal website updates as detailed in the company’s go-to-market marketing calendar.

Work closely with manager of SEM/SEO to plan and implement website optimization strategies to achieve high organic listings in search engine results pages.

Monitor and analyze website traffic and provide regular reporting on conversion and campaign effectiveness.

Write clear functional requirements for website designers and developers as required by insights gained from analysis.

Initiate development of A/B and multivariate testing of site content and design to maximize traffic conversion and improve user experience.

Maintain up-to-date, detailed competitor and market analysis using industry tools.

Analyze programs and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising online campaigns.

Research features, techniques and technologies used on competing websites and evaluate for relevance to our website. Recommend new technologies, process improvements or reporting tools to improve engagement and conversion.

Work closely with the Social Media / PR Manger to achieve seamless integration of social programs with website functionality.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related marketing, statistics or technology discipline preferred

5-7 years’ experience in Online Marketing or website analytics

Analytics knowledge, experience with testing, competitive analysis, market research and online analytics (Omniture, Google Analytics, Coremetrics, SQL etc.).

Excel Expert – Formulas, filtering, pivot tables, trending charts, and template building.

Good knowledge of user experience, site usability requirements, and an overall great sense for how consumers interact in an ecommerce environment.

Data Driven – Strong projection-based, business-centric, analytical, and reporting skills.

Detail Oriented – Ability to spot data trends and communicating that to internal clients through clear and concise dashboards.

Team Player – Work within a dynamic team but also get work done individually.

Strong Communication – Ability to clearly and effectively communicate and present analysis findings and recommendations for marketing campaigns.

Flexible – Easily adapt to change and evolution.

Willing to take on additional responsibility for career and skill growth.
