The experienced 2007/2010 SharePoint Administrator (SharePoint Systems Administrator) position
is in direct support of multiple SharePoint sites. The primary role is stand-up, operate, and maintain SharePoint sites.
Added roles include traditional systems administration needed for servers / security maintenance as well as
development of new techniques and presentation methods. The individual is needed to join a team whose goal is
developing, establishing core capabilities for integration and support systems integration, testing, and training delivery
efforts. The individual will work in line with Architectural Design Sessions with customers to help them develop an
approach and strategy around the use of SharePoint adoption and content management. The SharePoint
Administrator will provide Technical and Delivery leadership on projects to included but not limited to design,
document, install and operate multiple SharePoint solutions – based on the needs of a deployment. The Admin must
also be able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks from various levels of leadership.
Required Skills, Experience, and Education: The required skills are: Ability to develop new pages, reports, views in
SharePoint. Able to use SharePoint data to assist clients in the development, tracking, and analysis of performance
measurements metrics for Office, Troubleshoot issues and provide technical guidance to end users to ensure best
practices, standards and security implementation strategies are met, Must have experience demonstrating “Out of the
Box” SharePoint capabilities and working within constraints of company-wide / customer-wide systems. Minimum of 3
- 5 years of hands on experience in SharePoint Administration. BS/BA degree in Computer Science / related technical
degree (e.g. Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science) is desired; All work will be
performed in Columbia, MD, Fort Meade, MD or at the client locations nearby; no relocation is authorized.
Required Clearance: The candidate must be a US Citizen and have/maintain a TS/SCI (with Lifestyle polygraph)
Desired: BS/BA degree is desirable; Windows 2008R2, Red Hat Linux 5.5+, Scripting, Documentation experience;
SharePoint Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) Certification or other MS certifications is a plus; .Net
Development skills and SQL database experience a plus; SharePoint Designer experience
