Along with thriving indoor houseplant and bedding plant division, Costa Farms operates merchandising and transportation companies as part of its infrastructure with operations domestically in South Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and abroad in the Dominican Republic, and Far East.We are currently seeking an experienced Website and Social Media Content Manager to join our Marketing team in Miami, FL.Job Description: The Website and Social Media Content Manager will be responsible for developing the voice for all aspects of the organizations online presence. In addition to writing, editing, and proofreading site content, this person will also work closely with Costas IT team to maintain site standards. The website content manager will also be responsible for crafting email newsletters, and online outreach campaigns.The content manager will work closely with marketing members of our organization, so strong communication skills are needed. Tasks require a strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Create, develop and manage content for organizations web presence. Maintain a consistent look and feel throughout all web properties. Coordinate with cross-departmental team for educational content, maintain and develop the master content calendar for all web properties. Proof, edit, and rewrite any outgoing material from the Marketing department to ensure quality and precision, including: PowerPoint presentations, sell in material, etc. Oversee contributing writers or freelancers. Keep current with emerging web technologies through relevant blogs, and events. Track and report on all site metrics. Work cooperatively with key team members, clients and vendors.
Requirements and Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related field. At least 3-5 years of content management experience. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment. Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English required. Spanish is a plus but not required. Must be organized and have excellent time management skills. Must work well as part of a team and have the ability to interact with all levels of staff and management. Must be able to travel. Strong proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook is a must. Proficiency working with Photoshop is a plus. Passion, Integrity, and Energy!
