R ogue Fitness is looking for dedicated full time Weld Shop Supervisor 2nd Shift to join our team at our Columbus, Ohio location in Columbus, Ohio.

Position Description : Directs and coordinates the activities of production welding department.

Position Responsibilities :
Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in welding and cutting of metal products.
A pply knowledge of layout, product design, mac hine function, ca pacities and output, properties of metals.
Requisitions supplies, such as weld rods, gas, flux, and fixtures.
Analyzes work orders and blueprints to determine infor mation, for example material to be use d, type of operations, and sequence of operations required.
Trains workers in operation of equipment.
Understands and enforces RQS. “Rogue Quality System”
Accountable for work flow planning, maintenance and production metrics.
Interviewing and training employees. Appraising performance; motivating, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Position Requirements;
Extensive sheet metal fabrication, welding experience and be proficient in blue print reading. Minimum of 5 years of manufacturin g supervisory experience. Experience in a dynamic job shop environment including quality control systems, man agement principles and practices, manufacturing processes, equipment and scheduling and inventory control methods . Must be able to troubleshoot product related problems, manage and prioritize numer o us concurrent tasks, delegate, and manage work. Excellent communication skills both ve rbal and written. Exceptional organizational skill with ability to prioritizin g multiple tasks. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office package and working kn o wledge/experience with MRP systems a must. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a m anufacturing field preferred.
