PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION
:
To efficiently produce high quality products through wire feed welding.
MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
Produces high quality K-BAR products through wire feed welding.
Set ups and operates various welding equipment.
Drives forklift to move product as needed.
Assists in the Fabrication department, may operate various machines, as need dictates.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Keeps supervisor informed of important developments, potential problems and related information necessary for effective management.
Performs related work as assigned or apparent.
Minimum Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS:
High School education or equivalent.
2-year Vo-tech certification or equivalent experience.
Excellent blue print reading skills.
Strong mathematical skills.
Ability to stand for up to 10 hours a day.
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
Ability to relate well with others and work as an overall member of the team.

No supervisory responsibilities.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:
Protective footwear (steel-toe boots/shoes)
Protective eyewear required.
Protective hearing required.
Welding helmet
Welding gloves
Welding cape/sleeves
