Responsibilities

Inventiv Therapeutics Institute (iTI) is presently seeking an experienced Clinical Specialists to conduct peer-to-peer product demonstrations and training sessions on behalf of a leading manufacturer of infection prevention products. On Call Clinical Specialists will work on a per diem, assignment basis, providing training support in key client hospital and teaching facility accounts. The candidate must be located near a major airport anywhere in the Mid-West.

Key Job Responsibilities:
On-Call Specialists, as an authorized representative of the Client, and under the field direction of the Client.
Work on an "as needed" basis
Provide post-sale education and demonstration to customers on the product operation and use of products
Conduct post-sale in-service education session in customer's facilities
Perform post-sale troubleshooting and retraining activities on behalf of the Client.
On-Call Specialists shall not have the authority to effectuate sales on behalf of Client, and shall be authorized to refer to him/herself as an authorized representative of the Client only in the performance of the duties described herein, and only during the term of his/her engagement. The services provided by On-Call Specialists shall only be for uses consistent with current labeling on Client's product
Present himself or herself as a business professional
Perform all activities in a manner which demonstrates a command of customer service principles and adult learning styles
Maintain product and technical knowledge in areas appropriate to the products represented and for uses consistent with product labeling
Attend and successfully pass assigned training programs
Provide field written reports, documentation and written feedback in a timely and comprehensive manner as required

Requirements

Must have minimum of RN, BSN preferred
Active Registered Nurse Licensure
2 to 5 years of clinical or related experience in operating room, infectious disease, or hospital based nursing preferably surgical, ER or intensive care
Strong experience in the OR/Surgery setting (sterile field, sterile technique) and very comfortable with the activities/players in the OR.
Vascular access experience is also required
Availability to travel 2-3 consecutive days (may include nights or weekends) twice a month anywhere throughout the US
Commitment to 2 assignments per month
Candidates must have personal email address/capability
Candidates must have cell phone as this is used to communicate while on site
