Ducks Unlimited, Inc. (DU) is requesting hourly rate bid quotes accompanied by a statement of qualifications from qualified individuals to provide 1,920 hours of technical assistance over 12 months from July 2014 to June 2015 as a private consultant contractor to help promote and deliver the Reinvest In Minnesota (RIM) - Wetlands Reserve Easement (WRE) program for the Board of Water & Soil Resources (BWSR) and USDA†s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in Thief River Falls and Marshall, Minnesota. Based on hourly rate bid price and qualifications, DU will contract with one individual for each location to serve as a RIM- WRE Wetland Consultant for 12 months beginning July 1, 2014 to help promote and deliver the RIM-WRE in counties around each location. Specific deliverable tasks are listed below.. The contract will require a minimum of 1,920 hours of technical assistance over the 12-month life of the contract. USDA†s NRCS will provide office space, computer, office supplies, field equipment, and vehicle. Training will be provided.Deliverable tasks for Ducks Unlimited RIM-WRE Wetland Consultants include: Promote RIM- WRE to landowners and develop RIM-WRE application packets. Develop and modify easement conservation plans for both initial and maintenance restoration contracts, and payment packets. Conduct easement status reviews and site visits. Assist with wetland restoration engineering surveys, design, and construction management, and oversee implementation of prairie restorations. Assists other RIM-WRE tasks as needed or requested, and provide monthly activity report to DU, NRCS, and BWSR.
