DESCRIPTION

This is a senior consultative sales position responsible for successful Wholesale telecoms sales to Competitive Local Exchange Carriers (CLECs), Incumbent Local Exchange Carriers (ILECs) and other business operations requiring Wholesale telecom. Management of the entire Sales and implementation process is required: identifying, qualifying, initiating, closing, project managing implementation and ongoing Account Management. Ability to sell and market the Birch Operations and Network capabilities to C level executives is critical to success. Position will report to Wholesale Director, and will interface with Directors/C-level.

DUTIES

Develop profile of target market

Identify/Qualify potential accounts

Develop marketing/sales plan to address target market

Initiate contact with targeted prospects

Conduct positioning and data gathering with targeted prospects

Prepare and present proposals/presentations as required to secure business

Work with Operations to develop post sale implementation plans

Perform full Account Management role once major account solution is implemented

Contribute to the growth of Birch Carrier Solutions by articulating future product development requirements, evolving the sales process,

Partner with the Corporate Development department and the CEO to develop and pursue warm leads from M&A activities

Provide sales reports and sales funnel data as required

Understand the Company's products, prices, processes, and systems as necessary in order for representative to be successful

Resolve problem orders as needed to ensure successful installation and billing of services to customers

Continue to update content and sales skills as necessary in order for representative to be successful

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience Requirements:
Bachelors degree mandatory; MBA preferred

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Self-starter consultative executive with consistent $Ms major account track record of success

Professional image and demeanor

Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Excellent presentation skills

Telecommunications experience highly desirable

Project Management prowess and attention to detail

Extensive travel anticipated

Adept in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point
