This Technician will be responsible for a number of duties including but not limited to:
Making onsite inspections to identify wildlife species responsible for threat or damage by sight, sound, tracks, type of damage or other appropriate evidence.
The Capture and removal of Nuisance Wildlife in an urban and suburban setting.
Working on Roofs using ladders as well as working in attics and crawl spaces.
Performing necessary duties in various types of weather during all times of the year.
Perform basic repair work on areas that animals have damaged using hand tools, sheet metal, and screening.
Formulates and implements a management plan based on sound Biological principles, applicable laws, policies and integrated wildlife damage management strategies (including demise and disposal).
Coordinate plans and work activities with supervisor, law enforcement officials, property owner and others as appropriate.
Must have a Valid/Clean Drivers License and pass drug screen/background check
Must be willing and able to fulfill all job-related travel normally associated with this position .
Able to lift heavy objects and maintain consistent awareness of surroundings at all times.
Must be able to climb, crawl, up, on, and in roofs, crawlspaces, under porches, and other tight areas.
Prior specific experience is preferred but not required
The wildlife technician is responsible for providing corrective, preventative and exclusion services assigned to nuisance wildlife control service customers.
