Responsibilities:
- Lead all quality activities including identification of needs, organizational support and coordination
- Monitor performance and continuous improvement of assigned production processes
· Employ statistical analysis to analyze methods and results of product inspection, audits, and final inspections
· Evaluate records and prepare reports to assigned functional plant and quality management, and AWP leadership indicating results, conclusions and recommendations
· Utilize lean and continuous process improvement techniques to ensure successful completion of the projects
· Manage rework activities in manufacturing
- Establish and implement plans in accordance with company procedure, including: receiving inspections, process audit, and final inspections
- Support construction safety to provide an adequate and safe working environment
- Lead the resolution of quality problems through disciplined problem solving methods
- Liaise with our Supply /Production /Engineering in US and Spain regarding design changes/manufacturing/material issues
- Evaluate logistic support methods to assure compliance with company manufacturing and quality practices
- Generate and present periodic reports to AWP management
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in technical or engineering field, or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes (production, logistics, and engineering) and quality assurance principles
- ISO9001 experience; ASQ Certification preferred
- Ability to read blueprints
- Above average computer skills, including: web application usage and MS Office
- Ability to successfully interact with all organizational levels internally and with contractor leadership in a professional manner
- Demonstrated ability to organize/prioritize work to meet deadlines and to prepare plans and reports
- Ability to Travel 75% of the time
