Direct client Hiring Immediately This is a Full time opportunity in NYC NY with a major Retail Industry We’re looking for Participates in project teams in order to understand the scope and impact of new feature releases assess impact on current technical operations and gain an indepth understanding of the changing architecture and operation of the web sites Prepares and executes release implementation plans in order to deliver new application packages to QA and production environments Identifies and executes on opportunities for additional automation tools and procedures in order to facilitate higherquality web site operations Troubleshoots and resolves escalated production support issues documents lessons learned identifies root cause and develops proactive measures to eliminate the source of trouble for the future Creates and maintains documentation diagrams and knowledgebase entries Advises and trains operations staff on website debugging and problem resolution techniques Identifies and implements improvements to monitoring systems Participates in a rotating ‘oncall’ roster for off hours crisis support Other duties as assigned We’re looking for someone with Thorough understanding of Windows 2003IIS platform hosting ASPnet applications 5+ years of experience supporting high volume ecommerce environments Knowledge of Internet and networking technologies such as but not limited to TCPIP AD hardware load balancing and DNS Familiarity with VMware ESX Experience developing multisystemmultiplatform scripts and batch jobs Basic familiarity with RDBMS applications such as Oracle or SQL server Experience with Enterprise Monitoring Systems (SCOM and Solarwinds preferred) Experience with Enterprise Scheduling Systems (ControlM preferred) Bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalent experience Familiarity with LinuxUnix platform a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to be proactive and work well in a pressured and quickly growing environment Ability to travel to local DataCenter locations Send your resumes to rosalindtnsnjcom phone 9732870435
