About the Position Regional Sales Manager
This is an opening for a Regional Sales Manager for an organization in the HVAC Building Automation & Industrial Automation industries. This organization designs and markets a broad line of devices that support various BAS and Industrial Control systems and protocols. The RSM will aggressively seek new opportunities to expand the company's products and services to existing customers and add new customers. The RSM will have good working relationships with key customers, employees, and partners in this region.
This position covers the Eastern Coastal States and will be based from either a home office or a company-paid office space anywhere within the sales region (must be near a major US Airport). Duties include:
Achieve and ideally surpass a sales quota for the Eastern region Update company CRM with contacts, opportunities and monthly forecasts Review projects, issues and opportunities of significance with management Attend national sales shows, as applicable, throughout the year Assign and manage channel partners (distributors and integrators) Evaluate and develop vertical markets such as: Municipalities; Energy Management; Campuses and OEM accounts Ensure that all actions are accomplished in an ethical manner
BS degree in Sales and Marketing,(technical education is an advantage) 5 Years HVAC & industrial automation industry experience Proven experience in establishing sales channel networks within Eastern region Efficient problem resolution skills and follow through capabilities Excellent ability to understand and explain the equipments operations and communication interfaces; technical aptitude is advantageous Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and CRM
