Viper currently has an outstanding and challenging career opportunity for a motivated and self starting Windows 7 Information Assurance (IA) Specialist capable of preparing system and software applications for Security Certification and Accreditation as mandated by the Department of Defense. The IA group ensures all software and system level IA requirements have been met prior to deployment and are capable of troubleshooting and resolving any operational issues that may occur as a result of STIG, GPO or system Lock-Down. This position will be based in Orlando and will support a major aviation maintenance industry program.
Must have hands-on experience with DoD STIG, Windows Group Policy Object (GPO), and Gold disk, Active Directory and Windows 7 Roles and Policies.
Certification and equivalent experience in two of the following areas are required in order to perform duties at work:
CompTIA Security+ and Network+
MCSA or MCSE
GIAC GSEC or another Technical GIAC
Ability to travel to the field in Nevada, Arizona and California to deploy software and system as necessary
In compliance with Department of Defense and Department of State standards related to this work, you must be a U.S. Citizen and able to qualify for a Secret Clearance
High level of independence and responsibility, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills
