We are seeking an experienced Windows Level 2 Support Administrator to support our client near St. Louis, MO. This is a 12 month, W2 contract position, with a possible 12 month extension.

Essential Job Function:
Responsible for the administration and advanced level support of Windows based systems in an enterprise global environment (3000+ servers).
Providing advanced Windows server support and troubleshooting issues in an enterprise environment.
Developing scripts to automate administrative tasks.
Participating in on-call rotation and patching activities.
Develop processes/build documentation for upgrades, new technologies in Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) format and able to ensure adherence to it.
Form good communication links with other technical teams, in order to increase the quality of support and service to the end user.
Be aware of new technologies that may be used to enhance or replace the existing services. Learn new technologies – be self driven and taught
Act as a member of quick-response user-support team and will often work under demanding deadlines, operating independently to resolve complex end-user problems.
Foster a sense of urgency identifies and overcomes obstacles. Balances the big picture with day-to-day activities/issues for their technology. Persistent in the pursuit of results.
Required Skills / Experience:
Experience with Windows administration in an enterprise environment (5+ years or equivalent).
Experience with complex Active Directory environment (5+ years or equivalent).
Experience with complex DNS environments.
Experience leading small projects and collaborating with cross functional teams on projects.
Excellent English verbal and written communications skills.
Experience with Citrix
Systems monitoring and compliance toolset experience: BMC Patrol, and/or BladeLogic Server
Education / Certifications:
BS Degree or equivalent experience.
