The Solutions Leader for the Windows track will have a strong understanding of Windows technologies from a marketing perspective. Using input from ISS Compute Engineering, you will use core Windows technologies to build a portfolio of solutions available for consumption in the ISS Compute service catalog.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Creating and executing a business plan to ensure your product's revenue and unit goals are achieved
  • Developing a healthy Windows and Management Solutions pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Bringing customers to agreement on the business value of proven Windows, Virtualization and Cloud solutions
  • Develop in-depth understanding of the platform and related solutions and the value they bring in solving business problems
  • Ensure appropriate resources are engaged to help customers evaluate Microsoft Windows and Cloud solutions
  • Increase deployment of Windows Server Platform in your customer set
  • Drive customer and partner satisfaction for your products and solutions
  • Connect enterprise customers and partners with the Engineering / Run groups
  • Contributing to the recruitment, engagement and readiness of partners who can help drive business
  • Team effectively with other Business Engagement leaders, Business Relationship managers, Engineering and RUN resources to meet your goals and customer needs
  • Understand ISS strengths relative to competition and effectively communicate those strengths to customers in a positive manner, knowledge of VMware, HP, Symantec, Linux, and other Unix technologies is a plus
  • Delivering reference and satisfied customers that can be leveraged in future sales engagements
  • Developing Windows solutions considering client’s existing infrastructure, performance and application requirements
  • Accurately Develop rightsizing solutions based on customers’ requirements not demand
  • Develop ROI analysis for client’s adoption of Windows
  • Stakeholders in the Engineering NTIs and Tollgate processes
  • Support Engineering in the creation of technology lifecycle planning
  • Work alongside Engineering to develop technology roadmaps
  • Evaluates and Leads NSI based on need & relevance to the business
  • Acts as the feedback conduit between Engineering and the Solutions team
  • Develop list of cost out opportunities and own the execution
  • Tune and optimize new and existing technologies in the ISS solutions and service catalogue
  • Work closely with ISS Run teams to insure deployed solutions are meeting expectations for performance, delivered business value and risk abatement

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology / related field (or a minimum 8 years of IT experience)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft Server Platform Technologies
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with high availability and disaster recovery solutions and tools including clustering, load balancing, Site Recovery Management
