The Windows Administrator will support and provide ongoing maintenance to the existing corporate environment. The Windows System Administrator is responsible for availability, installation, configuration, provisioning, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software.

  • Support and provide ongoing maintenance to the existing production environment
  • Work with internal customers to address issues with hardware and software, and repair as needed
  • Manage server support duties, as necessary
  • Follow and support management processes
  • Excellent time management skills with daily production, operations, deliverable(s), and schedules
  • Able to follow and produce clear and concise documentation, as required
  • Will be involved in all phases of the installation and integration of software and hardware component changes to large, complex information systems
  • Maintains environment security and compliance
  • Works with customer to plan for scheduled down time for maintenance reboots and restores
  • Proactively monitors and manages system resources to optimize operating efficiency and performance
  • Performs backups
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years supporting Windows Server in an Enterprise environment
  • 3+ years supporting Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 with clustering experience
  • 3+ years supporting Exchange 2003/07, knowledge of 2010, a plus
  • Strong Product knowledge of Windows Server 2008 and Windows 2003
  • Knowledge of Active Directory Users/Groups/Domains
  • Ability to self-manage workload and work independently
  • Accurately set timeline expectations around completion of projects and tasks
  • Punctual attendance for meetings and daily work
  • Technical certifications, preferred
  • Write scripts to automate system administrative tasks
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills
  • Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • High degree of honesty and integrity
  • Team-player, positive attitude and flexible
  • Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be comfortable with adult content
  • Must be at least 21 years old
