The successful candidate will be part of a team developing software for Spirent's Location Test System products. Position involves the development of wireless application software using Visual Studio. This also includes the integration of hardware and software. The successful candidate will implement new products as well as enhancements to existing products and have leadership responsibilities. Excellent SW development design skills including OOP are also required.

Job Responsibilities:
1) Analyze specifications from 3GPP, OMA, and various Spirent customers to derive the product requirements.

2) Design and implementation of application software based on the product requirements.

3) Develop and execute unit test plans to ensure the correct functionality of the product implementation.

4) Preparation of various documentation to enable Spirent customers to use the product successfully.

Job Requirements:
*BSEE/BSCE required. MSEE/MSCE desired.

*Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position in related technologies.

*Strong knowledge of structured software design practices.

*Good knowledge of at least one high-level programming language including object oriented design and programming (OOP).

*Microsoft Visual Studio experience is good to have.

*Knowledge of wireless communication technologies. Experience with GPS or other location technologies is helpful.

*Experience using test and measurement equipment including mobile device test is helpful.

*Motivated, self-starter who likes challenging work.

*Possess strong problem solving skills and team-oriented approach.

*Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

*Technical and conversational English speaking and writing required.

*Ability to speak Mandarin is a plus.
