Women’s Softball Assistant Coach
Western Kentucky University (WKU) is seeking applicants for the position of Women’s Softball Assistant Coach. The Assistant will assist and work under the supervision of the head coach. This is a regular full-time twelve (12) month position.
Responsibilities:
- Coaches practice sessions and workouts
- Assists with coaching responsibilities during athletic events
- Recruits
- Demonstrates working knowledge of overall and sport related NCAA compliance
- Tracks academic progress of student-athletes
- Builds community relations
- Attends preparatory meetings and implements strategies resulting from these meetings
- Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Two years of collegiate coaching experience
- Pitching experience
