As a strategic business partner, major responsibilities will include providing direct support and consultation to the primarily sales organization regarding: associate relations, engagement, retention, talent management, recruitment and selection, performance management, people development, work systems, change management and compensation. This position will require a significant amount of time in the field to provide HR to a portion of our 22 distribution centers across the US; travel will be approximately 40%.
This position can be located in our Corporate office (Federal Way, WA) or close to any of our larger sites (Charlotte, NC; Baltimore, MD; Atlanta, GA; Denver, CO; or Dallas, TX).
Requirements: 5+ year’s human resources manager or equivalent experience. Excellent critical thinking and decision making skills. Ability to develop and maintain collaborative and effective working relationships. Ability to influence people at all levels of the organization. Experience in issue resolution and employee relations. Experience in growing and developing people. Strong sourcing, recruiting and staffing capabilities. Experience leading organizational changes. Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter, manage multiple priorities, see the big picture and manage details. Understanding of federal and state employment laws. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
