This is a full-time grant funded temporary position that exists to manage the activities of the City of Phoenix’s Business and Workforce Development Center funded by the City under the Workforce Investment Act (WIA). The supervisor
leads a team that builds and supports talent recruitment and development programs to assist new and existing businesses find a qualified workforce.
Work is performed under the general supervision of a Community & Economic Development Deputy Director and an Economic Development Program Manager and requires initiative and good judgment.

$60,174 - $89,856 annually.
A combination of three years of experience in Economic Development, Workforce Development, Human Resources, and/or Education and Training.
Three years of experience in managing and overseeing professional staff.
Bachelor’s degree in human
resource related and/or business and public administration
An equivalent combination of related experience and education may be considered.
Certification in either Human Resources and/or Economic Development is strongly desired.
