The Corporate HR team is seeking a data-driven and ambitious professional to review and analyze human capital trends and to make employment recommendations based on those findings and on Graybar’s overall business strategy. The Workforce Analyst will design and implement a proactive, comprehensive and strategic approach to workforce planning. The Workforce Analyst will develop and maintain human capital data, reporting and management dashboards, and other analytical tools to capture and analyze data relevant to workforce planning.
Key Responsibilities :
reviews and analyzes human capital trends to make employment recommendations that fit within Graybar’s overall business strategy; ensures that staff levels are appropriate for operating activities by analyzing trends and data; designs and implements a proactive, comprehensive and strategic approach to workforce planning to support Graybar’s business strategy and employment needs; develops and maintains human capital data, reporting and management dashboards, and other analytical tools to analyze Graybar’s workforce; conducts organizational assessments to support data-driven management strategies and strategic workforce planning objectives; prepares reports for executives, audits human capital activities, and conducts other workforce analytic investigations; Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, HR, Business, Finance or related field
Experience in statistics, mathematics, accounting, human capital metrics or analytics, and/or finance
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, including the ability to analyze and interpret statistics/data; ability to extract and analyze data using a statistical tool
ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing;
Strong technical skills to produce and manipulate a range of forecasting and numerical analysis tools
proficiency with MS software (Excel, Word, and Power Point) applications
Self motivated, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement
Ability to be forward thinking while maintaining an appreciation and understanding of past practices
