Job Descriptions:
THIS IS A SCHOOL PROGRAM. MUST BE PLANNING TO ATTEND VINCENNES UNIVERSITY OR LAKE LAND COLLEGE FOR THIS POSITION.

Job Function:
Participates in on-the-job training and assists in basic setup and servicing of all types of equipment offered for sale by the dealership. Prepares equipment for delivery to the customer or for demonstration purposes per company standards. Will require direction or guidance from the Service Management Team and lead set up technician.

Essential Duties:
Develops all skills needed in set-up and reconditioning of new and used equipment, and other merchandise offered for sale by the dealership
Assists in pre-delivery inspection on all types of equipment and other merchandise offered for sale by the dealership under the supervision of a lead set-up technician.
Operates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment required in the set-up and delivery process per company standards
Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion
Follows all company safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with job assignments
Accounts for all time and material used in performing assigned duties
May participate in Service EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge after 90 days of employment.
Maintains a high level of company quality standards (safety, quality and productivity)
Performs pre-delivery inspection on all types of equipment and other merchandise offered for sale by the dealership
Performs basic reconditioning tasks on trade in equipment
Keeps himself/herself groomed and clothed as per dealership guidelines.
As with all other employees, you will be expected to be a team player.
All other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:
Skills & Qualifications:
Ability to operate vehicles, tools, and equipment used in machinery pre-delivery and set-up processes
Ability to assemble machinery components and to follow manufacturer’s pre-delivery instructions
Ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions
Fundamental level of knowledge of engines, hydraulics, power-trans, air-conditioning, and electrical systems as they apply to machines marketed by the Dealership
Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
Valid driver’s license required
Fork lift license required
