Prepare, clean, load and unload equipment for customers. Maintain inventory control of equipment. Maintain equipment yard in an organized and good working order. Perform final inspections on machines ensuring a quality, clean, and work ready machine is delivered.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

All essential functions, duties, and other responsibilities will be performed in support of the Company’s Mission, Vision, and Principles Statements and will include the following:

This position may involve knowledge of confidential information. Such information will be handled with the utmost discretion.

Greet customers.

Introduce customers to new lines of equipment that would fulfill their project needs.

Instruct customers in the proper use of equipment and demonstrate operation when necessary.

Check rental contracts to be sure the right equipment goes out.

Prep equipment prior to loading.

Perform weekly inventory of all rental assets.

Scan equipment during shipping and receiving process.

Prepare equipment for daily reservation.

Communicate clearly and promptly with counter equipment requests/inquiries.

Wash & thoroughly clean rental and sales inventory equipment.

Remove equipment from outside display area each evening.

Check fluid levels and test operation of equipment before loading.

Fill propane cylinders.

Secure loaded equipment per company procedure and inspect in transit if necessary.

Maintain a clean and professional appearance.

Deliver and pick up equipment and supplies as needed.

Check equipment for damage upon return, report damage and fill out service tags for all returned equipment.

Inform supervisor of low inventory levels.

Maintain clean physical facilities.

Report safety violations to supervisor.

Load and unload machines from factory, customer machines, and rental machines.

Receiving of machines into Foley through DBS.

Inspection and reporting of machine condition returning from rentals, and before delivery. Report any needed repairs to
management.

Perform loading and unloading of customer repair items for Service Department – i.e. buckets, undercarriage, engines, transmissions, bore/welding parts, hydraulic cylinders, etc.

Manage inventory of sales attachments – i.e. buckets, snow plows, rippers, etc.

Perform minor repairs and maintenance to sales machines – i.e. oil levels, lights, grease, tire pressure, replacing damaged parts, etc.

Perform attachment swaps as needed – i.e. bucket swaps, remove and install quick
couplers, hydraulic hammers, etc.

Assist customers with machine operations.

Enter all shipping and receiving documents into DBS daily.

Maintain fuel log daily.

Open and close all gates on company yard daily.

Organize yard as defined by management.

Organize warehouse as defined by management.

Organize and file all books for New and Used Equipment daily.

Perform snow removal function in parking lots of the dealership.

Comply with government safety requirements and other regulations and security in store.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

All employees are required to be productive during working time, and to support the overall operation of the
business. Any employee may be assigned to any work outside his or her job classification on an as-needed basis, so long as the employee is qualified to perform the work. Upon request, employees will participate in
cross-training to enable them to support other segments of the business.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to use computers and have command of appropriate software. Ability to learn to effectively operate any company software – with training. Ability to perform minor repairs and diagnostic work on all makes of equipment.
Positive customer service skills. A basic understanding of the terminology related to the products and
services that the company sells. Familiarity and working knowledge of equipment, its use and how equipment is operated. Ability to obtain a valid Kansas driver’s license and DOT medical card.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent is required. One to three months of related experience and/or training. Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office products, ability to grasp and understand all pertinent company
computer systems. Strong customer relations skills. Strong oral and written communication skills. Basic repair and diagnostic experience with various types of rental equipment.

physical and demanding, both from strength requirements and the stamina required. Must stand for long periods of
time. Regularly required to walk, kneel, bend and push. Regularly transport objects of various weights and dimensions. Frequent and regular use of hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk, or hear. Regularly reach with hands or arms; climb or balance; stoop, crouch or crawl. Climbing on, off, and under heavy equipment. Regularly lifting of up to 50 pounds. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Frequent close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Ability to drive and operate all assigned equipment and tools. Full range of motion and dexterity.

Work Environment

enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.). Some work will be indoors with general warehouse conditions, in which some work areas may not be heated or air conditioned. Must be able to work in all kinds of weather conditions. The majority of work is completed outside, with varying weather conditions. May have exposure to chemicals, including but not limited to gasoline, diesel fuel, propane, kerosene and cleaning
solvents. Propane is an obvious hazard, hence a sense of smell is required. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Typical office tools, personal computers, fax machines, copiers, operation of various types of equipment.
