    location has an immediate opening for an enthusiastic and energetic Yard Worker . In this role you'll help our Yard team to organize the Houston yard for our auctions, as well as at temporary auction sites throughout the region.

    No auction experience is needed to work in this role! Lots of hands-on training will be provided.

    The Opportunity:
    In this role you'll:
    • Operate all types of heavy equipment and trucks.
    • Play a key role in organizing equipment in the yard for the auction.
    • Help customers to load up their equipment purchases, and answer their questions related to the yard.

    Job Requirements
    Here's what you bring:
    • Experience operating a variety of heavy equipment and trucks.
    • Able to operate a large 36,000 lbs forklift is an asset.
    • Good spoken and written English is required. Fluency in Spanish is an asset.
    • Good computer skills and the ability to learn new programs quickly.
    • A track-record of working safely, and helping others work safely, too.
    • Strong interpersonal skills – you must be able to relate really well with customers and team members.
    • You like to work as part of team, helping out wherever needed; but you can also self-start and work on your own.
    • You're organized, and can juggle lots of tasks at once.
    • A high level of attention to detail.
    • You like to work hard, but still have fun on the job.
    This job will require you to:
    • Hold and mantain a valid, clean driver’s license.
    • Regularly climb on, off and under large equipment and trucks.
    • Work outdoors for extended periods of time, year-round.
    • Work regular overtime, including weekend hours, at 5 onsite and 2 offsite auction sales. You can expect to work extra hours for 1-2 weeks prior to each sale, during each sale, and for 1 week after each sale.
    • Travel 2 times per year , to other auction sites within Texas.
