Under the supervision of the Merchandise Manager, the Team Lead will assist in the day-to-day operations of a specific department (Accessories, Coats, Jewelry, Linens, Menï¿½s, Outerwear, Shoes, Sportswear, Youth). This individual will work to inspire, motivate and encourage teamwork while solving department issues, making informed decisions and supervising the department wisely in order to achieve maximum results.
Responsibilities include protecting store assets, ensuring customer service standards are upheld and maintaining the appearance of the department and store. The Team Lead is an essential part in the storeï¿½s goal to provide friendly, efficient and knowledgeable customer service for all customers.

Deliver excellent customer service and demonstrate a high degree of professionalism
Merchandising the department, training associates within the department and customer satisfaction through knowledge of the product line and the ability to assist with product selection Responsibilities:
Participate in the preparation and execution of merchandise displays and presentations
Gather merchandise for transfers, debits/damages, returns-to-vendor (RTVï¿½s), and charge-backs
Facilitate proper communication between management and associates
Communicate with the management team about comparative shopping analysis, fast or slow selling classifications and styles, and customer requests
Ensure that the sales floor and fitting room recovery standards are met consistently
Ensure associates are compliant with established Company policies and standards
Assist in flowing new receipts to the sales floor per the merchandising guidelines
Assist in coordinating sales promotions
Assist in proper pricing of merchandise
Assist the management team in providing a neat, clean and organized stockroom
Assist in orientation, training, and leading sales associates in the execution of daily tasks
