Job Description

The purpose of this position is to assist the Marketing Manager in achieving local gross new members, gross new members, Zipcar for business revenue, balancing marketing spend, overseeing the Street Team including event planning and execution, employee scheduling, approving new members, and assisting at the other departments when requested.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assists Marketing Manager in managing and directing the Street Team.
  • Plans, schedules and organizes resources and materials for events; acts as point of contact during events.
  • Educates members of the public about Zipcar by engaging people, distributing marketing materials, and signing new members.
  • Organizes collateral and assigns daily tasks to street team members.
  • Mentors Street Team staff; may train new Street Team Marketing Representatives.
  • Support new account application and revenue growth with marketing materials, events, etc. while staying mindful of ROI/CPA and other Marketing metrics.
  • Reach out to existing accounts, to ensure proper account management and marketing coverage.
  • Maintain contact calendar to ensure check-ins with accounts occur monthly, quarterly, etc.
  • Monitor and reach out to self-sign-up accounts for marketing or account support needs.
  • Brief Street Team on, and attend all Zipcar for Business events. Report out on metrics.
  • Attend Z4B sales meetings with to represent Marketing as needed.
  • Work with Marketing Coordinator and Street Team on lead capture strategies, monitor results.
