Zone Sales Leader
Primary Responsibilities This position will be responsible for supporting the direction of the Corporate Brands (CB) Team and Division Corporate Brands (CB) Managers at zone and store level. The primary goal of this role is to understand and support Kroger’s CB vision and goals through in-store communication, education and interactions with associates. Be viewed as CB ‘Champions / Owners / Experts’ in stores!

Specific Responsibilities:

“Own Your Zones”
  • Responsible for CB performance and program execution in zone / group of assigned stores
  • Visit every zone weekly or per regular schedule
  • Build relationships with zone managers and zone support personnel(hard wired to zone coordinators)
  • Drive CB results in assigned stores (1) CB share/sales/units and current trends (2) Coach stores that are underperforming in CB (3) Present Best-In-Class & Opportunity Gap plans to stores (4) Ability to understand and communicate KCMSDW reports and drive business using reports

  • Attend Grand Openings / Special Events
Corporate Brand Advocates
  • CB Education / Coaching / Communication
  • Create enthusiasm for CB at store level – competition and best practice sharing
  • New Item communication
  • Conduct Zone demo events / product tasting and cuttings
  • Discuss key CB events and upcoming changes (conduit for CB marketing communications)
  • Create and distribute material for store associate communication and training
  • Promote KTV presentations and programs on CB
  • Surveys from supplier/Kroger GO/Lead – pricing, competition overviews, market intelligence
Corporate Brand Sales and Support
  • CB Sales Plan (execution/compliance) within their zone
  • CB display support (based on sales plan)
  • Shipper support (based on sales plan)
  • Support in-Store Demo’s/Sampling and other CB specific events
  • Create a plan, by store, to insure placement of extender/power wing program. Communicate value of extenders
  • Follow-up on CB recalls at store level
  • Execute special CB projects requested by customer / supplier partner / Daymon in house team
