Wimsatt Building Materials has a new management opportunity in our Accounts Payable Department. This critical funtion supports our vendor relationships, inventory accuracy, and profitability. Wimsatt is a large, independently owned distributor of exterior building products. With seven locations in Michigan and Northwest Ohio we're excited about our growth potential. Our A/P department is a high volume, fast-paced enterprise, processing thousands of invoices per month. The position involves distribution of department responsibilities and their execution as well as shouldering a portion of the workload. Wimsatt takes advantage of all discounts and is dedicated to maintaining our history of on time payment to our vendors. The Accounts Payable Manager will also manage invoice productivity and procedures to ensure efficient processing and adequate controls in all AP operations. The position will also require periodic reporting and vendor purchasing analysis.
We're seeking individuals with a bachelor's degree in accounting and 5+ years managerial experience in a high volume payables environment. Candidates must possess strong organizational and leadership skills.
