BSI Financial Services provides servicing and default management solutions to lenders and investors nationwide. As a subservicer/ outsourced service provider, BSI provides customized solutions to meet its clients’ needs. This position is responsible for managing a bankruptcy portfolio through bankruptcy processes and queue management. Review incoming documentation for relevance and action. Review bankruptcy plans for feasibility and negotiate with debtor's attorneys to protect investors interest. Manage work list to ensure proper follow up on a Bankrupt accounts within compliance of Bankruptcy and company procedures.
Handle inbound/outbound calls as it relates to bankruptcy ensuring compliance to the bankruptcy code.
- Receive, validate new bankruptcy notifications and update.
- Perform timely follow up with attorneys and bankruptcy trustees, follow up timely for hearings, discharges and critical steps and request referrals on delinquent bankruptcies and status updates.
- Respond to written and verbal inquiries in a timely manner.
