Requires: Five years experience in the computer industry; Associates Degree in related field.
Preferred: Help desk expereince; MOS, A+, and Network+ Certifications; Bachelors Degree in related field
Deliver educational curriculum and lesson knowledge to students in a classroom setting.
1)Provide in-class instruction/lecture and hands-on training as required by course content in two and four hour sessions every five weeks.
2)Substitute teach approved classes every five weeks across all shifts (if applicable) as requested by Faculty Manager.
3)Prepare for classroom lecture and hands-on training activities daily.
4)Complete administrative work required per class including grading, curriculum support (as required), hosting study groups, tutoring students and observing classes.
5)Mentor new instructors every five weeks as needed including existing instructors who are teaching a class for the first time if requested). Perform follow-up meetings and report outcomes to Faculty Manager weekly.
6)Attend department, campus, and company meetings as requested by Faculty Manager.
7)Coordinate/host review and proctor licensure exams as requested by Faculty Manager if applicable to program area of emphasis (subject matter expertise).
8)Participate in faculty and professional development as required by credentialing agency.
9)Maintain confidentiality of all work information.
