CONFIGURATION ANALYST – SAP FINANCE
Configuration Analyst – SAP Finance for Hasbro is primarily responsible for analyzing and designing aspects of the system development process for Hasbro’s SAP applications. Configuration Analyst – SAP Finance is expected to lead and coordinate the efforts of a project team and oversee configuration and testing efforts relating to Hasbro’s SAP Business Objects module. More specifically, the Configuration Analyst – SAP Finance include:
Critically analyzing client requests with respect to the SAP Business Objects module and software based on specific requirements;
Designing, developing and evaluating technical solutions to best meet the needs of the business;
Developing and executing task specific project plans;
Writing programming specifications in accordance with departmental standards;
Acting as project leader, managing external consultants and configuration specialists to complete the designing, building and testing of new solutions, including the specifications for programming and configuration and testing efforts;
Updating procedures, operation instructions, and any other documentation impacted by programming changes;
Adhering to departmental procedures and standards when performing assigned tasks;
Participating on committees and teams within the Information Systems Department to develop procedures and policies;
Interacting with and assisting the client community;
Participating in product evaluations; and
Participating in off-shift system support as needed.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Business Information Management or a related field.
Two (2) years of experience in the role of an SAP configuration specialist or similar position.
Knowledge of and experience with fundamental and advanced concepts of SAP systems development and configuration and Business Objects tool sets, including its financial planning and consolidation applications.
Knowledge of and experience with developing reports in a Business Objects environment.
Knowledge of and experience with accounting and finance practices and principles for a global organization.
