This position is based in our Regional Headquarters in Fayetteville, AR.
As a Consolidation Program Analyst you will manage the daily execution of freight consolidation with CaseStack clients. You will administer multiple clients’ distribution needs through load building which requires extensive interfacing within the operations department as well as carrier and warehouse network. You will track, analyze, and develop variables that lead to consolidation program improvements. This is a deadline-driven, analytics-heavy position. As Consolidation Program Analyst, you’ll be part of the backbone of the daily operation at CaseStack.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, but not limited to:
Prepare accurate and timely vendor pool upload spreadsheets.
Accurately build consolidation load spreadsheets within program parameters while maximizing load utilization.
Recommend program improvements based on quantitative evidence.
Determine viability of best practices of cross docking while factoring in consolidation program constraints.
Manage sailing schedules for consolidation programs to achieve maximum potential delivery performance under program parameters, including updates for new programs as well as holiday schedule changes for existing programs.
Publish reports on weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis regarding volume and on-time percentage scores.
Support implementation team during the launch of new accounts and programs.
Receive, analyze, and respond to a high volume of communication each day.
Understand the order process flow to contract specifications.
Understand system specifications for order releases and tracking.
Successfully manage carrier and warehouse partner relationships.
Develop optimization strategies on consolidation and create business cases to leverage IT support to execute the strategies.
Understand how to deal with client shipment policies, carrier/consignee concerns, special handling instructions, etc.
Understand operational challenges with current consolidation programs. Implement improvement initiatives with partner warehouses, internal departments, and retailers to cut lead-time, costs, and complexity.
Perform additional duties assigned by company.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS, but not limited to:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience required.
3+ years of experience within transportation and logistics industry.
Experience working with Wal-Mart distribution preferred.
Able to identify patterns and craft compelling solutions for profit maximization.
Expertise in Microsoft Excel.
Sufficient familiarity with web based tools.
Strong understanding of product distribution is desired, especially within CPG.
Strong talent for multi-tasking and managing competing priorities effectively.
Proven track record for implementing innovative solutions to complex problems.
Highly organized; attentive to details.
Self-directed, yet strong team player.
Travel may be required.
