Bachelor’s degree in related field, Master’s degree preferred.

Three to five years experience, with a demonstrated track record of successful proposal writing and program development.
Highly developed written and oral communication skills.
Experience with program management, including the administration of large, complex funding streams and multi-year grants.
Knowledge of local funders.

One year experience in data analysis and program planning preferred.
High degree of skill with technology, including MS Office software, social media and donor database software, preferably Raiser’s Edge.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail and accuracy while adhering to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
TDL, Liability Insurance, vehicle in good working condition, good driving record.

Builds relationships with private and corporate foundation funders by implementing effective cultivation and stewardship strategies.
Researches and writes proposals and applications.
Assists with negotiation of contracts, processing of grant agreements, and timely submission of reports.
Enters data into funder database and project management system in a timely manner.
Engages funders in dialogue regarding potential solicitations, including through Real Goodwill and other cultivation activities.
Engages in customized funder recognition activities.
Maintains positive, team-oriented relationships both within and outside of Community Engagement department. Assists and shares knowledge and information with other employees as needed.
Writes award nominations.
Assembles and delivers proposals per funder requirements.
Demonstrates good interpersonal skills while honoring organizational and divisional values.
Completes training hours.
Demonstrates ethics and complies with Corporate Compliance Program.
