Established consumer software firm seeks an experienced E-Commerce Manager to help manage and grow an exciting E-Commerce B2C security business.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate success helping develop a successful e-commerce business blending creative promotional thinking with strong analytic and user experience skills.

Candidate will work with consumer sales, marketing, outside vendors, product development, customer service, and product support teams to create plans, strategies and tactics that will drive online revenue, conversion and customer satisfaction.

Candidate will combine general online marketing acumen and brand sensibilities with specific experience and success developing, deploying and directing customer acquisition programs that drive significant, profitable revenue growth.

Candidate will be digital, analytical and curious by nature, possess an entrepreneurial, collaborative spirit and have a well-established personal and professional network.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the development of the overall e-commerce marketing plans -help define tactics and programs for establishing and expanding an e-commerce brand across multiple marketplaces and sites. Provide insight and input into site design/build/optimization/branding projects

Conduct site merchandising, pricing analysis, product promotion activities

Develop, implement and optimize targeted acquisition marketing programs such as SEM, SEO, comparison shopping engines, e-mail marketing and loyalty programs

Collaborate with marketing to create brand awareness and expanded customer reach via display advertising, social media, mobile marketing, member loyalty programs and online, mobile and offline promotional activities

Collaborate with product managers and marketing to develop and implement an annual program of online sales, promotions, content initiatives, and merchandising initiatives that drive sales and strengthen customer relationships

Help manage the front-end website experience, category strategy, landing pages, product assortment, pricing and overall merchandising mix

Help plan and execute promotional emails and remarketing initiatives to internal registrants and partner programs

Track and evaluate site user behavior; make recommendations to improve user experience/usability and sales conversion.

Identify opportunities for new marketing tactics, technologies, site-conversion functionality and improved user experiences

Regularly report on performance vs. goals to senior management team

Desired Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field

4-6 years’ experience in e-commerce marketing, including “start-up” B2C e-commerce operations

Direct experience in setting up and managing complex paid search campaigns with demonstrated success in meeting objectives

Significant experience with direct marketing campaigns such as SEO, comparison shopping, affiliate and loyalty programs

Experience integrating social media tactics into an overall marketing plan

Expertise in analyzing e-commerce-related business metrics

Ability to analyze site needs, provide constructive input, and proactively plan / incorporate new technology as appropriate

Experience in security software or software utility products a plus

Experience selling through marketplaces including Amazon, Ebay and a plus
