Lourdes Foundation seeks an effective, innovative and seasoned annual gifts officer with experience planning, implementing and evaluating a comprehensive annual giving program, which includes direct mail, e-giving, grateful patient program, restricted campaigns and personal solicitations. The position participates in the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of individuals for gifts in support of Lourdes programs and services. This position is responsible for securing annual donations from individuals, businesses, grateful patients, employees and medical staff.
This position works closely with and reports to the Vice President & Chief Philanthropy Officer. Responsibilities include designing, implementing and advancing a comprehensive annual giving strategy, as part of a comprehensive philanthropic program.
The position will meet or exceed annual goals as defined each year in a personal assessment score card. All job functions are performed with a high degree of professionalism, including responsibility, initiative, creativity, dependability, cooperation, and courtesy.
Bachelors degree required. Minimum five years experience in leading annual gift fund development, preferably in a healthcare institution, including a strong documented record of gift solicitation in the annual gift range.

Lourdes Foundation is a separate 501(c)(3) nonprofit entity from Lourdes. The purpose of Lourdes Foundation, Inc. is to raise funds to assist Mercy Health Partners – Lourdes in their exempt purpose of providing health care to the community.
