NOTICE OF POSITION OPENING
Eden Prairie School District is seeking applicants for six ilearn Coordinator positions. The role of these positions is to provide leadership, support, and build capacity in instructional staff to use technology that supports and personalizes learning. Eden Prairie is a school district with over 1,500 employees serving 9,800 students. The district is recognized for its quality initiatives and its leadership in educational programming.
Eden Prairie Schools is beginning the journey to put more technology in the hands of students and teachers through an effort called "i-LEARN@EP." The phrase "digital conversion" refers to our transition from a paper-based system of fixed content (i.e. textbooks, tests and assignments on paper) to a digital (technology) based system of adaptive content where students and teachers use technology devices to access and create content as an integral part of the learning process. Teachers have used different technology tools in creative ways and have found different ways to engage students. The use of digital devices is the logical next step in this evolution.
Minnesota Teaching License
Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field.
Three years teaching or related experience required.
Demonstrated knowledge of designing and providing adults learning.
Demonstrated knowledge of technology based instructional strategies and tools.
Effective at bringing varied entities together to collaborate and implement technological based instructional strategies and support learning.
Organization and management skills.
Ability to design and implement effective adult learning opportunities.
Demonstrated communication skills including writing, speaking, and listening.
Ability to involve others in work and inform others of decisions and events.
Skills in team building, collaboration, and problem solving.
Ability to resolve conflict and build strong relationships throughout the organization.
Ability to think broadly, manage multiple priorities, and work with ambiguity.

Regionally competitive salary based on education & experience

Salary and Benefit Package
Regionally competitive salary based on education &
20 days a year
11 paid holidays each year
Life insurance fully paid by the employer for an amount equal to twice the employee's annual salary
Long Term Disability Insurance
Long term disability fully paid by the employer.
Medical/hospitalization insurance fully paid by the employer for single coverage, generous contribution by employer towards family coverage premium.
Dental insurance is fully paid by the employer for family coverage
14 days per year cumulative to 254 days
50% tuition for up to 3 credits per academic session for pre-approved coursework
