Title: Infrastructure Engineer (Autonomy)
Location: South Windsor, CT
Pay Rate: Negotiable. Client wants to know current compensation and desired comp (hourly rate, or base plus bonus if applicable).
Serves as the lead technical SME responsible for design, engineering and hosting of web application solutions. Supports the design, analysis, development and implementation of engineering infrastructure solutions of projects for complex business solutions which are primarily driven by the Autonomy (HP) tool suite implementations. Troubleshoots and proceeds on resolving infrastructure compatibility issues based on system architecture, project requirements, customer expectations, etc. Is involved in the creation of design specifications and the integration of Autonomy WCMS products and may resolve infrastructure compatibility problems as they arise. Responsibilities may include risks assessments, partnering on capacity planning, budget forecasting, and the diagnosis and correction of application/network problems. Manages and oversees infrastructure hosting Autonomy HP TeamSite, LSDS, LSCS, Report Center tools, and product upgrade plan and activities. May serve as the primary contact for vendors.
Desired Technical Knowledge & Skill Sets:
Technologies span mainframe, midrange, desktop, server, network data, voice, messaging, web, database, and output/receiving. Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and at least four, typically six or more years experience in all phases of infrastructure network management or its equivalent in education and work experience.
