The Interim Minister of Worship is responsible to the Senior Pastor for the development and supervision of the worship programs of the church.
A. Be responsible for congregational singing and music at all regular services of the church. The music will be planned with the pastor, and where differences of opinion exist, the pastor’s wishes shall prevail.
B. Direct the adult choir, orchestra and second service praise band and team.
C. Enlist and train music leadership wherever needed.
D. Assist the pastor in planning the worship services.
E. Provide direct supervision of church musicians.
F. Supervise the maintenance of musical instruments, materials and sound/media equipment.
G. Provide for music at church events as requested.
H. Assist the pastor in such areas of service as requested.
I. Prepare special music schedule.
A. Attend and participate in staff meetings.
B. Serve as ex-officio member of the Music Committee.
Compensation consists of salary (negotiated with the Music Committee at time of hire) and mileage allowance.
