The company’s products and services are based on its proprietary RNAscope® technology, the first multiplex fluorescent and chromogenic in situ hybridization platform capable of detecting and quantifying RNA biomarkers in situ at single‐molecule sensitivity. ACD partners with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to validate biomarkers for targeted therapeutic development in cancer and other diseases. These partnerships provide the foundation for ACD to develop companion diagnostic tests in conjunction with partners’ targeted therapeutics. ACD also pursues internal programs to develop proprietary diagnostic tests in cancer management.

Role:

Advanced Cell Diagnostics has an exciting opportunity for a Territory Account Manager. The Territory Account Manager's role is to ensure achievement of territory sales objectives in line with Advanced Cell Diagnostics mission, to control, organize and direct sales activities through both strategic and tactical activities, and to provide regular reports on status of specific sales, the market and competitor activities.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Development of a territory and account-specific sales plan
  • Execution of plan to meet sales quotas
  • Utilization and maintenance of CRM
  • Delivery of technical/scientific seminars and presentations on Advanced Cell Diagnostics products and their capabilities
  • Demonstrate role and relevance of Advanced Cell Diagnostics product portfolio and provide consultation to customers on same
  • Demonstrate command of scientific knowledge to engage in collaborative sale
  • Partner cross-functionally to appropriately address the needs of customer base
  • Engage customers in both simplex and complex sales environment
  • Successfully navigate representing new technology and ACD brand
  • Engage in accurate forecasting and CRM activities
  • Effectively prospect and generate new customer leads
  • Manage new and existing customer base
  • Develop and maintain strong customer connections at various levels in the organization

Background and Experience:

  • Life Science Degree is required, advanced degree preferred
  • Extensive commercial experience
  • Experience in a strategic selling environment
  • Demonstrated track record in lead generation and prospecting
  • Highly adaptable and independent
  • Strong desire to win business and establish long-term customer relationships
  • Previous demonstrated success with new technology sales and within in multi-layered environment preferred
  • Work Remotely, out of a Home office
  • 50% field travel at minimum
