This position involves active participation in circulation planning and execution. The individual in the position would be required to perform database data mining and reporting (standard and ad hoc) for various parts of the business. Forecasting, budget management, and vendor management are essential duties within the position. In addition, the individual will work with several internal and external teams, leading projects at times.
QUALIFICATIONS: A 4-year degree in relevant field (i.e. marketing, business, finance, or accounting) along with 2-5 years in Direct Marketing, Circulation and/or quantitative analysis is required. The successful candidate will have the ability to review and summarize large amounts of data while maintaining a high level of accuracy and be able to communicate key issues to varying levels of management. Creative analytical skills (identify strategic issues/hypothesize and quantify relationships) are necessary for this role. Thorough knowledge of Excel and knowledge of database structure and relationships is required. Experience with SPSS and SQL is beneficial.
