The primary job of the Membership Director is to educate guests in the many benefits of DirectBuy assisting them in selecting the Membership option that best fits their individual needs. This is a unique opportunity for a career minded individual. No travel necessary. A successful candidate will be eager to learn and execute a proven process for helping guests become Members. He or she will have excellent one on one presentation skills as well as the ability to present before groups. A strong command of the English language, both written and oral, are necessary. Experience in consultative selling and service will minimize the time required to reach top level performance and maximize earnings. Training includes one on one, group, self led materials, and is ongoing.
We are seeking a man or woman to dedicate themselves to learning, executing, and perfecting the skills provided by DirectBuy that have proven successful for over 40 years. An ability to speak Spanish is a definite plus (other languages helpful as well). Once the candidate is efficient and effective in the DirectBuy processes and procedures he or she will be challenged to explore additional creative methods to expand the opportunities for Membership sales within the current structure and by developing, presenting, and implementing new and different methods as well.
Excellent organizational and people skills.
Previous sales experience with proven track record.
Experience with Commission Sales Environment.
Must have a neat professional business appearance.
Must be enthusiastic, energetic and have excellent communication skills. Present themselves with a clear and friendly voice face to face, over the phone, and in written communications.
Confident, with a strong drive for continuous improvement and need to meet or exceed goals.
Must be a team player and have the ability to build relationships with Members, prospective Members, and staff possessing an excellent work ethic and verifiable work history.
Must be reliable and have high personal integrity holding themselves to the highest level of ethical behavior.
Ability to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends on a preset schedule.
