The Sensors Test Analysis Requirements Simulation (STARS) team is seeking a mid/senior level Sea-Based X-Band Analyst who will enhance our support of the Missile Defense Agency's sensor systems. This position requires a person with specific experience with the Sea-Based X-Band Radar (SBX) capabilities. Individual will be part of a team of analysts conducting validation of SBX models, analyzing radar data and radar system performance from flight and ground test events. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of radar systems engineering processes, missile defense architectures and Air and Missile Defense radar applications.
Required Qualifications: Experience with the SBX radar, either hands on or working with data generated by the SBX. Candidate will have a detailed understanding of the unique SBX software and capabilities.
Candidate must be able to interact effectively with individuals of different experience levels and backgrounds including government and external industry personnel. Strong verbal and written communication skills is required. Candidate must have an active SECRET security clearance.
Desired Qualifications: Familiarity with UNIX and Linux operating systems is desired. Candidate should be proficient in Matlab or similar analysis tools and experience in radar configuration is desired along with experience in radar analysis using Matlab.
Education Requirement: Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Math, or Physics or at least 7 years of applicable experience
